Music and Additional lyrics Jonathan Patrick Moore

Little snowflake, soft and white,
Drops down in the silent night ;
Soft she came with steady poise,
Making not a bit of noise ;
Gently falling on the earth,
To be present at the birth
Of the Christ-child, and adorn,
With her beauty, Christmas morn.

Little snowflake so unique
A gentle kiss upon His cheek
Each one bearing from above
Caressing waves of tender love
Carpeting the frozen ground
Softness swelling with no sound
Stirring children wake surprised
A wonderland before their eyes

This reverie of snowy bliss
Gently reminding us of this
In the midst of celebration
Each are God's unique creation...

Little snowflake, settle there
Whispering your tender prayer
That all who would be pure as He
Would serve our Lord as noiselessly
Not for any man's acclaim
But simply to exalt His name
And though the snow must melt away
May love grow deeper everyday.
