The Fragrance of Worship

May the fragrance of our worship fill this house As an extravagant anointing is poured out May the mark of true devotion be a life that leaves no doubt That we love you, truly love you, Jesus May our brokenness and tears be genuine As we make a true confession of our sin Knowing that your tender mercy is our only covering And we love you, truly love you, Jesus The most precious gift we have to give is worship Our greatest offering a surrendering of will Our greatest obstacle believing in God’s all-sufficiency - until We are tired of seeking someone else to blame Lack of intimacy covered up by shame Discovering Your presence and the power that’s in Your name, We come to love you, truly love you, Jesus The most precious gift we have to give is worship Our greatest offering a surrendering of will Our greatest obstacle believing in God’s all-sufficiency – until The fragrance of our worship fills this house As an extravagant anointing is poured out Where a heart of true devotion marks a life that leaves no doubt That we love you, truly love you, Jesus Jonathan Patrick Moore 3/13/2016

Don’t Weep for Me (Stations VII and VIII) Though Simon carries my cross, I still can feel its weight. The growing darkness of this day reminds me of my fate. The pressure’s insurmountable no escape route can be found. I bow in yielding sacrifice, I stumble, I fall down….I stumble, I fall down. I do not crave your pity. You can’t aid me with your tears. I choose to walk this way for love. It is not as it appears. No power can make me do this, no politician’s will. I choose to walk this way for love, to die upon this hill – to die upon this hill. Don’t weep for me those useless tears, Cry for yourselves and your children For the days are coming when all of you / Turn from your sinful ways - believe in me Will have wished that you were barren / I am the author of salvation
